This blog will replace the journal, which ceased to exist in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>With this interactive blog, we want to breathe new life into the community of qualitative researchers in the Netherlands. Our aim is to promote qualitative research and provide a platform for qualitative researchers to share <em>knowledge<\/em> and <em>methodological problems<\/em> and <em>challenges<\/em> with each other. We are looking for ideas for blogs and hope you could contribute! You can certainly use your blog post as a stepping stone for an article to be published elsewhere. The discussion on the KWALON website could possibly even enhance the arguments in the article..<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, we are looking for blogs on:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>a methodical (practical) problem (question and\/or solution) or<\/li>\n<li>a knowledge-theoretical (more philosophical) topic or<\/li>\n<li>the (added) value of qualitative research or<\/li>\n<li>issues surrounding education in qualitative methods.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For the blogs, we apply the following <em>author guidelines<\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a blog contains 1000-1500 words maximum (2-3 pages);<\/li>\n<li>has a clear question or statement and invites interaction;<\/li>\n<li>may be written in Dutch or English;<\/li>\n<li>does not have too many literature references;<\/li>\n<li>contains one appropriate photo\/illustration;<\/li>\n<li>concludes with a short CV of the author (maximum 50 words)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We look forward to receiving your idea(s) at blog@kwalon.nl.
